Audie M. Teague, O.D. Optometric Physician
Dr. Teague completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Memphis. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1983. He completed externships at Memphis Health Center and Alford Eye Clinic in Little Rock. Dr. Teague attends several hours of continuing education each year to keep up to date with the latest developments in eye and vision care.
Dr. Teague has held numerous offices in professional associations including President of the Arkansas Optometric Association, Board of Directors of the AROA, President of the Southwest Council of Optometry, Board of Trustees of the Southwest Council of Optometry, and Board of Directors of Arkansas Eye Associates. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and Southern Council of Optometrists. Dr. Teague was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Arkansas Optometric Association in 1998 & 2007. He was named Optometrist of the Year by the Arkansas Optometric Association in 2012.
Dr. Teague has been married to his wife, Pam, for 38 years. He has two children, Kristen and Craig.
Kristen Teague Thompson, O.D. Optometric Physician
Dr. Thompson graduated from Prescott High School in 2000. She then graduated summa cum laude from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in mathematics. She received her Doctor of Optometry Degree magna cum laude from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2010. She completed an externship at South Arkansas Eye Clinic in El Dorado, AR. Dr. Thompson attends several hours of continuing education each year in order to provide her patients with the most up to date vision care and ocular disease management.
Dr. Thompson is a member of the Arkansas Optometric Association, Southern Council of Optometrists, Southwest Council of Optometry and American Optometric Association. She serves on the Legislative Committee of the Arkansas Optometric Association. She enjoys raising awareness about eye care by speaking to civic clubs and other organizations about vision threatening diseases.
Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with her son, Jax, and her Australian Shepherd, Sassy.
